  2. And rightfully so. Policing in this country hasn't progressed since the 1992 riots over the rodney king beating. Interestingly though the police in LA have progressed and learned after the riots. While you see plenty of LA police shootings, they're always justified uses of force against armed suspects. The LAPD really turned their department around after the city burned.
