It's appalling how many of these people look at Johnson and actually think he believes what he says. These focus groups don't seem to be a representative cross-section in terms of ability or wealth. If you can't win an argument, all you need to do is hoodwink the more credulous.

Seemingly 27.2% of the UK population aged 16 to 74 had a degree or equivalent or higher. You don't tend to see people like that in these focus groups, so we can suss out a few things here: (1) the groups are not supposed to be representative of the whole of the UK (2) the groups are supposed to help a party (3) the groups are researching how to appeal to the demographic chosen (4) so really this is about how voters can be persuaded - rather than about good policies.

This isn't a random group. 27% of Brits have a degree. About 100% of the people in the focus group couldn't get one. It's a testing ground for persuading phuckwits.
