A place that does not accept other peoples hobbies(3:50) and where people are unkind to each other(8:58). Relationships are full of jealousy(0:29). Childhood is lonely(3:46) and extremally challenging (1:43). If this is the experience for most people in Japan, the birthrate will never increase.
