The Israeli's are waiting for US support, if Israel go into Gaza now it would be their Stalingrad, the place is levelled to rubble, the Israeli's would lose a lot of troops fighting urban warfare, the US is cooking up some plan, maybe complete carpet bombing, Israel or the US has never been worried about collateral damage
