  1. I live in the USA, so I'm not familiar with amateur radio operators in the UK. However, the operators I know here would be irritated by this. They take pride in their networks, especially during times of natural disaster when they become essential personnel, and they would make a great effort to find the offenders and hand them over to the Federal Communications Commission.
