  1. I'm sorry that young shortwave listeners (if there are any) don't have the listening opportunities that my generation did during the hottest part of the Cold War. Soviet sphere propaganda and spy number transmissions were a constant source of listening enjoyment. Practically any radio would do, too. I used a tube driven Zenith Transoceanic. It was great!
