  1. I would be interested in a video about civilian enthusiasts' attempts to decode number stations. I have seen online groups who publish daily LISTSERVs of the previous night's transmissions, then try to solve them like puzzles... without using one time pads. I don't know how successful they are, but it's interesting to watch them try.

  2. As terrible as it sounds, I miss the Cold War in some ways. Shortwave radio was definitely more fun and (somehow) things felt safer than they do now.
