  1. A couple of years ago I had a replaced knee blow up about 6 months after replacement it waz a real ordeal of course they did surgery and cleaned out. They but a tube in my heart and I went to the hospital every day for IV antibiotics. I noticed a real stink I thought perhaps I did have c diff. Which tests showed I did. I don't know if clindamycin was in the mix. But then there were as antibiotics for 3 months penicillin and vandamycin. I didn't need the vancomycin for long but TBE penicillin was brutal 3 months of headaches and nausea that only got worse. I am glad I didn't loose my leg
