  1. Slightly different, but I remember when my manager said something kind of snarky to me that I didn't like, but I knew it'd just make my life so much harder if I hated her. So I tried to do the opposite and went out of my way to be nice to her - I complimented her hair and jewellery, I lent her my vape, I asked politely what to do at work. Now, I actually feel like I like her more than before she said that snarky thing to me. And because I'm nice to her, she'll probably less likely be snarky with me again.
