  1. ​ @wurstelei1356 my understanding is the settlements were a base for Isis aligned Sinai terrorists that had been attacking the Egyptian state and Egypt destroyed the settlements for their own security reasons, completely separate to Gaza and Israel according to Egyptian spokespersons.
