  1. It'll be interesting when people realise analgue computers are computationally more efficient for almost any real dedicated task. The only reason we didn't take that path, was the Russian infighting during the cold war which made them fold and put everything in catching up with IBM on the route they took. At some point, I don’t know when, having a business that relies on a whole load of turing machines is going to be a sign of incompetence rather than intelligence.

  3. So you think they have a deflation spiral while we in UK have an inflationary one? You don't seem to have accounted for China's dollar dunps and the expectation of inflation tsunami after they broke the petrodollar. Almost impossible to see them not being buried in dollar devaluation.

  4. Taxation is much worse than under feudalism. Our rulers have hiked it up to the plebians have to give 3/4 of everything to the aristocracy one way or another as a baseline to live.
