  1. Hahaha. Perestroika and Glasnoss were experiments which proved unbridled capitalism lead to the most pernicious corruption and inevitable mobster style rule. This wasn't a master plan, it was an inevitable consequence of Yeltsin being forced to make a Faustian pact with the oligarchs in order to pay workers. This documantary's narrative is destroyed by peeking at the history behind the hand picked starting point. If only Europe or US had bailed out Yeltsin, Russia would not be ruled by mobsters. That was the Munroe doctrine they had applied to all previous defeated enemies. What changed? The Munroe doctrine was replaced by the Wolfowitz "World police" doctrine. Therefore Russia and Germany could not be allowed to get close ties. Russia had to be kept down and isolated as they border the Middle East and China - US priority targets. Nato is a pact to turn Europe into a meat grinder to hold back Russia while the US fights China for supremacy. We will not be fighting for our freedom, but for US hegemony. But few will see it.
