  1. "what should Israel have done about Oct 7th". Admitted how many of the civilians they killed, not lied about rapes etc., not gone on a campaign of collective punishment. They couldve deployed the military to prevent return to gaza but they annohilated everyone under the Hannibal directive instead.

"we need them to pay our pensions" right there... using the problem as an axiom on which to propose a solution to the problem, where the solution is anything which justifies and pays those pensions (which were earned based on taking on housing and national debt)... however, rejecting this "kick the can down the road to the kids" mentality is not allowed. Even discussing solutions where the generation that made the problems pays the price is out of the question.
