  1. Kaku stuck in a loop where he doesn't seem to realise that his "extrapolation to get the initial conditions" relies on string theory so is circular. It's testing what shape a cookie is but you hide the fact the cookie shape is defined by the cutter you chose.

  2. I would say a law is definitional, so schrödinger's equation follows from the laws of quantum mechanics. Whereas Hook's law and ohms law define an ideal spring and an ideal resistor respectively.

  4. Quantum theory hasn't been tested at all, let alone accurately tested. We've just spent 120 years trying to shoe-horn platonism into thermodynamics, and it still hasn't produced (m)any logically consistent theories.
