@SoySadgeSauce yes it does, don't go too heavy on tutorials though. You really have to code lots of toy functions and play about until you understand how they work intuitively to get value out of building multi-component programs from tutorials. e.g. with python, play around in the interactive interpreter, run things through a debugger when they work and then break them and see what happens in the debugger. If you try to sprint to a baseline "capability to code" expecting the rest to fill in later, you'll be taking the ultimately harder and less fruitful path. In short, whether it gets exponentially easier or exponentially harder depends on how you approach your foundations in it.

@johnshaw6702 yep, you get it. What I would say though, is 15 to 20 years in I discovered putting the same effort into learning proper old school geometry (before sin/cos/tan) blew my world open in the same way for understanding form, logic, and calculations. Which in turn had quite an unexpected loop closing quality with how I approach systems architecture (I'm roughly a cyber security solution architect currently).

@Danuxsy unfortunately, there are people who try to make things just like that and sell them to people like me!

I recommend studying topology, I have a similar kind of synthesia and it gives good language for it.
