  1. It’s 1.6 quarts low at the add line, so you are probably about right. I’d say it was 2.2 quarts low. It only holds 4.6 in the pan and filter, not good at all.

  2. I never check the oil level. I put in 4.8 quarts and verify I get close to that out at the next oil change.
