you would think that the state licensing for the business would have noticed if something was not legal ie calling itself a University. And not allowed them to use that name or do business there when signing up for registering as a business entity. They allowed it because using University as a euphemism was being done casually by others as well. It was just so obviously not literally a University, but a euphemism. If that state thought it was claiming to be a real university, then they would have investigated what it was offering and would have required it to do alot of other gymnastics regarding its accreditation etc. But those states knew it wasn't a real university but gave it the green light and approval to operate in their state anyway. They could see, like any reasonable person, that it wasn't a literal university but merely an obvious play on words.

It was obvious to anyone with a brain, that it wasn't a real university like an actual college. That was so obvious that it went without saying. People have long used the word University for names of series of things, and it's not deceptive because it's obvious that it isn't an actual college. But there were people without brains throwing money they didn't have at something they could not afford instead. ps whenever you have Mike Milin involved, it's a big red flag . He did other such " free seminars" previously, where you go to a hotel conference room to listen to his shpeel, and it's a lead- in to further " learning" that costs you something. He isn't the only one. Commercials on tv used to sell similar real estate how-to mail order " courses" for like 75 or 100 bucks as well. I think these operators got Trump in to something he wasn't aware of , how they operated; or he would never have licensed his name for it.

If people were using up their life savings, then what were they going to use for investing in Real Estate? that's sheer stupidity. So maybe it was the too-stupid people who were throwing that money around unwisely and then not able to benefit from those trainings due to their own mental deficiency, i mean it's quite possible. Since others didn't feel the same. But then you have plenty of stupid people going to real colleges and getting degrees, but are totally unable to use them much since it was a waste of money in their case. They want a high paying career but fail in it.
