  2. banks must rely on professional appraisals for valuation of large holdings, one would assume. there are several ways of appraising things. so i would think trump and the bank both relied on an appraiser's statement of value. No bank is just going to take some lay person's word for value of a high value piece of real estate.

Trump told the violent people to stop. was she deaf or something? he obviously tried to get the Guard there in sufficient numbers, previously: so he must have expected them to show up and also other law enforcement. so of course it took him a while to intervene personally, which is an unusual kind of intervention. He never told any of them to do that, she is stupidly assuming he did. She is unworthy of her office, and should be investigated to see if she even really qualifies to be in Congress or has ever harbored an illegal,e tc.

They may have relied on the data given them by those they paid to appraise or determine the information. People do not appraise thier own real estate. Corporate top execs don't do the book keeping or accounting. The employees do. Then they hand a statement to the top finance exec who should know how to read it.

  27.  @constanttraveler  that would be directly illegal . he is saying that because of certain circumstances, states etc can take defensive action in the absence of feds doing it as needed. So the tribes can too. Just like Texas is doing, and the court said they have that right. This leader is asking for help from feds to stand with the native tribe for defense against the cartel invasion. If they don't help, then they are remiss and they are negligent. So the state can step in under that condition, especially if the Tribe says they can help them.

  28. Term limits in congress is not the best idea unless it's really long like 20 years. Shorter term limits would be a huge mistake, and takes away from the voters' choice. Too many newbies are gonna mess it up as they haven't learned the complicated governance, the process or the laws. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE WE WILL HAVE GOOD CANDIDATES to replace them so often. Long term Congressmembers become experts some times, and they know the history and precedent, and the legislation, where newbies will have to learn it all over again.

LOW INCOME HOUSING SHOULD BE FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T PAY A NORMAL RENT- MUCH LOWER INCOME THAN 60,000. and giving this housing to middle class is a sin. it should only be for those much lower income, who are HOMELESS NOW due to the housing being unavailable and taken up by these middle class moochers who hardly need it at all. They can pay rent , since 60,000 = 5000 a month. This program hhas ben GENTRIFIED to allow middle class to live thre while the real poor go homeless as a result. THE NUMBERS OF UNITS ARE VERY LIMITED.

Hint: the Civil war, involving armies and armed attacks on our military forts, was an insurrection, and what the amendment is based on to bar such a candidate. Trump NEVER EVEN REMOTELY DID ANY SUCH THING. He told his 500,000 protesters to protest peacefully. about .01% decided to engage in varying degrees of riot, aka breaking a window or pulling a cop from the doorway etc. Most charged with minor trespass only, walking into a normally open capitol building. Protests are common in DC, and this one was legal. YOU HAVE NO FACTS.

  47. you have to consider the cirucumstances, we do have plentiful kangaroo courts in the usa. sometimes resulting itneh death of children, since judges can be extrremely stupid about things they are not qualified at all to make a decision about. in this case.,there's ample reason to believe that of the court. for instance, the way they are treating valuation of property... uh, evidencing extreme unfamiliarity of the processes and results involved.

  50. i took Financial Accounting in College, decades ago. 1990's. we didn't even use software then, and it was just to educate executives to be able to read different statements like a balance sheet. basic knowledge of accounting like, use of a ledger, etc. It isn't a prep for actually being an accountant. It's two terms, that's it. Other people- certified accountants and qualified people- produce those statements, execs just read them and make a decision for the company. I don't really remember that much either from class. I only use it a little tiny bit if i have to, and the standards can change from year to year as well. If you don't use it evry day all day, it's not that hard to forget. Especially when othrs are the ones doing the actual accounting- certified accountants etc..
