  9. they've had rights for centuries but everything's changed since then. it was because we had low population, no welfare, people did abandon their property or die and no heirs etc. That isn't usually the case now. States take the property and sell it if there are no heirs. But homeless do squat, by necessity . However, now it's just over the top with all the illegals, and huge numbers of homeless, and many homes are simply NOT abandoned . .

  10. they aren't really squatters if you're just away for a time but coming back. They are house breakers, or home invaders, breaking and entering a residence . The old definition was a poor family moves into an abandoned house , left to rot. they repair it and live in it for years. then they get the rights to it. The real owner has truly abandoned it for a long time and isn't coming back. Very old laws,hundreds of years old before we had current poverty programs, transportation, phones, etc.

Why do you think they are both being impeached by t he Republican House? but the Democrat -run Senate won't allow impeachment. Nor will they vote for it in the House. People, stop voting Democrat for Congress right now. Maybe later if you must, but NOT NOW.

If you are a Democrat, there is once in a while going to be a better candidate in another party that you should vote for. then go back to voting Democrat after they come up with better policies and better candidates. Same with the other parties as well. Voting party line blindly, is not the right thing to do, and a terrible failure on the voter's part.
