  1. Step parents and boyfriend/ girlfriend can be terrible to other person's kids. Always watch like a hawk. courts should be extremely cautious in visitation and custody. this stuff is all too COMMON, or other types of abuse from step monsters.

  3. if i were on that jury, i'd want to make sure the woman wasn't just researching because the baby had already eaten stuff though. apparently the child had been operated on to remove things from her stomach, months before she died of the acetone. Did this woman report it to the doctor? who reported it? the real mother ( a white woman btw). what was the exact motive if any?
