  1. China is a beautiful country with abundant resources, great people and an amazing culture. But they have lot of challenges ahead of them. The biggest problem with China is their government. Not only are they communist but ever since Mao Zedong they have forgotten much of their culture that made them great. Traditional Chinese culture placed so much importance on humility, decency, and respect for nature. Mao Zedong made it his mission to destroy that culture. He wanted China to conquer nature and the world. China has problems with corruption, overpopulation, environmental destruction, and rapidly depleting natural resources. What it will take is a revolution. Unfortunately much of China's population will die in such a revolution because it will likely involve a war with foreign countries in which they are dependent on, which will result in economic isolation thus triggering this revolution. Millions of Chinese people will starve to death. But China is the oldest country on Earth and they have fought through just about everything imaginable, so we know they will prevail. Hopefully we will see a democratic China emerge that will become a close ally of the west. If we can unite the USA, Europe, Russia and China then we can completely change the world.

  8. Chinese manufacturing wins because people bust ass. The number one thing holding China back is their government which has been communist but is quickly becoming capitalist. Luckily they are smart and are realizing that communism always fails, as they become less communist their economy grows by leaps and bounds. The problem in the west is that people are still living off of the success of their parents and grandparents. People are spoiled and therefore lazy. They expect to do minimal work for maximum pay. The Chinese on the other hand will do maximum work for minimal pay. The problem that China will face in the future is that they may plateau due to their population. Theres too many people in China for them all to work white collar jobs and live in the suburbs like westerners.

  13. The only way EV's will go mainstream is through a combination of battery advancement and decreased reliance on personal passenger vehicles. In America we need to cut car ownership rates in half if we want to transition. Many European countries are already there. This would of course require expansion of public transportation and redesigning many of our cities. American cities are way to spread out. We need to change zoning laws to allow for high density multi-family housing. As cities become more compact we can allow people to live without owning a car. Right now you have to get into a 2 ton machine and burn gasoline just to get a gallon of milk. In Europe you can accomplish this by crossing the street and only burn a few calories. I can't be the only one who is sick and tired of having to drive EVERYWHERE.

  14. Literally just walk across into California and they'll give you a free house and health insurance. Nobody will stop you and when you get here they'll treat you better than their own citizens. You might have a harder time in somewhere like Texas but as far as physical barriers go there's not much in the way.
