  1. Why buy an R8? The RS6 was nearly as fast and its much cheaper and MUCH more practical. If you ask me its better looking as well. If you don't want an Estate then buy the RS7.

  2. Wow i got a lot of replies since i left this morning. To answer everyone saying you should spend twice as much for the R8 because it corners better, unless you live on a race track the difference in cornering ability doesn't really matter. Lap times don't matter on a nice drive though the countryside. If you want something that corners well then buy a Miata or a Boxter or something.

  3. Inner Hammer Yes the R8 handles better than the RS6 but is the difference really significant enough to justify the difference in price and practicality? If you want something that is just good fun on public roads there are plently of much cheaper alternatives. A Porsche 911, Nissan GTR, or even some very cheap cars like a Miata. You don't need a 600 HP mid engined super car.
