I lived in eastern Tennessee (west Knoxville to be exact) for 27 years(basically my whole life). You won't regret moving there. The people are friendly and wholesome, the area is beautiful (although summers are awful), the cost of living is cheap and despite the generalizations people are very tolerant here. I've seen people drive around with Bernie bumper stickers and nobody says a thing, but go to California with a Trump bumper sticker and you're cars going to be set on fire, no really it has happened. Not only that but we treat minorities as equals rather than constantly treating them like infants and "trying to save them" from systemic racism. Race doesn't matter in the south, we're all just people while in the blue states race is the most important thing to the point of it being racism. We welcome anyone looking to escape the grip of tyrannical liberalism, as long as you don't bring your liberal beliefs with you.

Yeah electric cars are just a pipe dream. Not only are they not green but they are completely incapable of performing the tasks require of motor vehicles. Yes if you live in an eco-friendly city with Tesla superchargers everywhere, you never commute long distances and you make 100K a year then an electric car will work for you. Anyone else though, like say 99% of people and its a complete bust. The batteries are the biggest problem. They are made out of lithium which is one of the rarest elements on Earth, so estimates predict that we will run out in a decade. Plus a battery pack will cost any where between 10-20 K and they only last up to 100,000 miles. So you have to spend 10-20 thousand dollars every 100,000 miles? Yeah the average person can totally afford that. Then theres the range, the charging times and the fact that they tend to catch fire and/or explode. Not to mention they ARE indeed coal and natural gas burners. Coal and natural gas make up about 65% of power generation in the US. About 14% comes from renewables and the bulk of that is from hydroelectric. Less than 1% is from solar. So to all of you Tesla fanboys who think we're going to power the world with sunlight and wind think again. Not only is solar not potent enough, but the land area required to build enough solar panels is crazy, literally an area the size of Spain. Also google the "duck curve" and you'll see another serious problem. The solution is hydrogen. We can use it to power our cars and our cities. It can be gotten from any water source and it recycles itself by converting back to water one the fuel is used. It produces zero emissions. The biggest problem is producing the fuel which is expensive and energy intensive with current methods. Thats a huge obstacle but it can be overcome. The problems with electric cars and solar power however cannot be overcome. The problems lye deep within the inherent design.

I was on board with this guy until he said "reconsider hydrocarbons". Like really bruh you make several valid points and then completely ignore nuclear power? It sounds to me like PragerU is sponsored by the oil companies. Solar and wind are a joke, but so are fossil fuels. Nuclear power was on its way to phasing out fossil fuels until Chernobyl happened. Then the oil companies exploited the tragedy to smear nuclear power and make generations of people fear it. People honestly think that when a nuclear power plant melts down it explodes like a nuclear bomb. You can't make this shit up. The future is going to be in mass-produced small modular Thorium reactors.

The country is polarized today because of the Democrats. The Republicans win elections by promising wonderful things that they have no intention of doing, this is what most parties do. The Democrats win elections through identity politics and promising free things, which weirdly they actually deliver in many cases at the expense of the working man. I realize that there are a lot of Republicans that watch this channel, i'm not trying to insult you but instead point out that politicians are almost always corrupt regardless of party. Governments are like the Midas of shit, everything they touch turns to shit. Thats why i believe that the best solution is a government that upholds the constitution and nothing more. Leave the rest to the people, thats true democracy.

Socialism fails for many reasons. The primary reason though is you give all the money to the government. In America people say that all the money is being stolen by the evil capitalists, but these entrepreneurs have no legislative power. Now in a socialist country all the money is being stolen by the government which does have legislative power. You see the difference. The role of the government is to protect the constitutional rights of the citizens, nothing more and nothing less. The government is not supposed to tell you how to spend your money or how to live your life, thats called totalitarianism. Freedom depends on individual independence and a minimally invasive government.

I don't think we should tax the rich more. But i do think we should reduce and streamline government spending. We spend way too much money funding social security and welfare, while also policing the whole world just to have them ungratefully call us stupid war mongering Americans. Those are just two areas we could greatly reduce government spending. Something else to consider is a wealth tax on the ultra wealthy. It would be a tax on their accumulated wealth rather than income.

I prefer the term "progressive" instead of leftist. Because everyone wants progress, calling yourself a progressive is all for show, virtue signalling and deceiving people to gain power. Anytime someone calls themselves a progressive they end up killing millions of people once they get to power. Look at Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao Zedong etc. All rose to power by promising salvation through some untested ideology. Together they killed 100 million people.

Saying that i'm responsible for slavery is like me saying that you're a criminal because a black guy 200 years ago that you're not related to killed a white person. Do you see my point. For one thing my family came to America long after slavery was abolished. But even if my great great great grandfather owned slaves, how would that be my fault? Whats really sad is that black Americans were starting to catch up to whites until the civil rights act was passed. Ironic isn't it? It makes you wonder what happened. I blame the democrats. They did everything they could to keep blacks down but they failed time after time. Then the civil rights act was passed, which democrats opposed, and they said to themselves" well we're not going to be able to keep these Negroes in chains but maybe we can win their vote". Ever since then the Democrats have been pandering to blacks and winning elections due to the black vote alone. They get votes through identity politics. They tell people that their opponents are racist and want to "make America white again". Unfortunately most people don't know their history and since the Democrats control the educational system and the media they will be spoon fed lies from birth. We need to take down the Democratic party. Launch a huge investigation of the party leaders. I promise you will find more skeletons than you can count. Take down the leaders and hopefully people will lose faith in the party and they will cease to exist. Then black Americans will be TRULY free.

@tomdalton4293 Yeah they put more blacks in jail, put more into poverty and tripled the single motherhood rate. But the worst thing they have done is tell blacks that they're always the victim and that they should give up on life because of white privilege. Not only does this discourage people but it also gives them someone to blame for their OWN failures. The first step in succeeding is accepting fault for you own failures, then you can try harder the next time and know not to make the same mistakes. But because of victim culture blacks just blame the white man whenever they fail at something, they never take responsibility and are therefore doomed to always fail.

The ONLY people that treat them differently because of their skin color are white LIBERALS. The very people that claim to be defending and protecting them. The Democrats are all about getting the votes. Back during the time of slavery they figured they could get votes from racist white people. Then after they lost that they figured they could impose Jim Crow law and get votes from racist white people. Then after they lost that they figured they could oppose civil rights and get votes from racist white people. Then after they lost that they realized that racism was dying. But a new opportunity arose, a whole bunch of black people just gained the right to vote. So they figured they could destroy the black community so that they could then promise to save it and gain a bunch of votes from black people. But this only works if the black community is broken, because if they actually fix it they will lose votes. Well its not hard to see the results of this.
