  1. The big problem with the Land Cruiser/LX is that they can't seem to figure out what they want to be. The LX is not as competitive in the luxury SUV segment because its based on the LC which prioritizes offroad capability. The wheelbase for example means its much shorter and has less room than the Escalade. On the other hand the LC is trying too hard to be a luxury SUV but doesn't have the bling or brand recognition to warrant the high price. For those who just want an offroader its way too expensive. The LX is compromised as a luxury SUV and the LC is compromised as an offroad SUV.

  2. Lets also not forget that TFL tested these 2 while towing. While the Ecoboost gets better mpg normally, the V8 gets better mpg while towing. Just something to remember.

  4.  @G-Rated  They used to justify it by making more reliable vehicles. But with the recent recalls on the turbo V6 I'd say that's no longer valid.

  6. Finally an EV sedan other than the Tesla. As long as its not crazy expensive it could be a good option. There are tons of Chinese options but you know.....if we let them sell them here it might force domestic manufacturers to actually innovate and we can't be having that can we?

  7. The Mercedes came out in 2014 or 15 and it still looks modern. That's saying a lot. Its like the competition is one generation behind Mercedes.
