The idea of a rescue plan was to mitigate the effects of the pandemic, saving people from losing their homes. 40 million people were on the verge of being kicked out of their homes. "The people" also got stimulus money.

He said he was going to reduce drug prices. Didn't happen. Said he was going to have Mexico pay for his wall. US taxpayers paid for it. He was going to get us out of Afghanistan. He waited until the fourth year of his term to negotiate a plan . Didn't get it done. He dumped it on Biden's lap. He said he was going to increase US manufacturing jobs. The US lost manufacturing jobs. He even said he was going to give up golf and work full time for the American people. That promise lasted a week.
