  2. Trump stole government documents and failed to return them when subpoenaed. He committed a number of crimes. If you did the same, they would do more than intrude your privacy.

The constitution doesn't say anything about it. When was Bret Kavanaugh's nomination? 2 months before the 2016 election.

  5.  @camcarroll5803  Mitch McConnell came up with the idea Garland's nomination was too close to the election so he refused to schedule it. This was in April, 2016. The constitution makes no mention of "too close". So the turtle did it on his own. To make the hypocrisy complete, Kavanaugh's nomination was scheduled in July, 2020, which was deemed not too close to an election.

  11. They don't need to find anything. Just the act of having government documents in his possession is a crime - 5 years . If some of the documents were top secret (they know he didn't declassify them) - icing on the cake - 10 years.
