  12. What set this up was Trump inviting a mob to the capital to interfere with the election certification process. He had no business "protesting" an election. His own former attorneys last week said he was fully aware he had lost the election.

  14.  @nataliewalton5118  Now listen to the progression of events. 1) Trump called in the mob with "Be there, it will be wild" 2) Trump's lawyers (Sidney Powel, Rudy Giuliani, etc) , last week revealed Trump was fully aware he had lost the election. Repeat. He was fully aware he lost the election. He told Mark Meadows (his Chief of Staff) to keep quiet about the results because he said he was embarrassed. 3) He called the event a "protest" even though there was nothing to protest. 4) He intended to have Mike Pence declare the election void and "send it to the states", but Pence wouldn't play along. The whole scheme was invented to sooth his ego. He's a very sick man.

It will be wild" are not the words of a legitimate protest. What was this "protest" for? In the ensuing chaos, he hoped to interrupt Senate electoral vote counting and giving to his allies time to implement his scheme to upend the election. Mike Pence was supposed to intervene and declare the election void and "take it back to the states" . He told his acting AG "Just SAY THE ELECTION WAS CORRUPT and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen". My only question is when will justice be served to these traitors.
