Unemployment is down to 3.6%. That's as good as Trump ever did.
2
He provided 7.9 million jobs since taking office.

You lost your job? There are lot's out there. We are not in a recession.

"The US extended a year-long streak of strong jobs growth in May, adding another 390,000 new jobs, the Department of Labor said on Friday. The unemployment rate remained at 3.6% for the third month in a row, near a half-century low. The number of unemployed people was also essentially unchanged at 6 million. The US economy has now added jobs for 17 consecutive months and employers are struggling to find enough workers. There were 11.4m open job positions in May, close to the record high of 11.9m open positions in April, and wages are rising as a result." - The Guardian

@blintzkreig1638 What happened in 2020? He let everything crash.
1
@blintzkreig1638 Biden has provided 7.9 million jobs so far. That's pretty good. "No other president since World War II saw such strong growth in their first—or any—year in office."- CAP
1
@gregorymckinney666 He created more jobs in his first year in office as Trump did in his first three.
1
@blintzkreig1638 Then he let the whole thing collapse in 2020.
1
@blintzkreig1638 Trump did have it better in 2019. He inherited an economy from Obama. It was a fine tuned machine. All Trump did was sit back and Tweet, when he wasn't on the golf course. The minute a real crisis struck (Covid), he let the whole thing fall apart. Biden inherited a complete mess. The problems persist .

@johnh.tuomala4379 Unemployment is 3.6%. That's 90% the job of the President. Employment. What, you don't like the way he stutters?

This is all caused by the pandemic.

I think they start on the 9th.

He's not up for reelection!

@marijooneill8015 Most Floridians mail in their ballots, including Trump.
1
@marijooneill8015 He's got the unemployment down to 3.6%, very close to pre-pandemic levels. That's actually pretty good.
1
@max420thc Inflation is what it is. It's called price gouging. Corporations are making record profits this year, some by a factor of 25%. It's not a coincidence . Antitrust laws anyone?
1
@Alfred.E.Newman You mean 1.3 million which is normal.
1
360,000 jobs added last month. 17 straight months of job growth.
1
No they aren't. Some of them might be. Things aren't that static.
1
The key is Biden created as many jobs in his first 12 months in office as Trump did in his first 3 years.

@billydacue195 What's causing division are shows like FOX News. All propaganda. The Right Wing is trying to blow the country apart. J6, case in point.
1
@rickpicone9751 Jobs are jobs. Biden will create more jobs with his infrastructure programs which, incidentally, all Republicans voted against. Tell me, Why did 200 Republicans vote against the bill to ease baby formula production? They (all of them) also voted against a bill to prevent price gouging at the pump. Can you think of an excuse for this?
1
@billydacue195 The ol' One World Order gig again. The Right has been talking about that for the last 50 years, but in never happens. Meanwhile, we have the Right openly attempting to overturn elections. They are arming as many people with guns as possible. Why do you compare J6 with the demonstrations? It's not "apples to apples" at all ; more like "pigs to petunias" .
1
@rickpicone9751 The ones who "went back to work" did it nine months ago.
1
@billydacue195 At least the Dems have a party. The GOP has turned into a mob. What are you going to try next ? The insurrection failed. Trump teamed up with the 'Proud Boys'. You people are a disaster. I've got an idea - why don't you people bring back the old Republican Party? You can then create policy to win over American voters, like you did in the 60's. You could be the "loyal opposition" again instead of bringing in the "Proud Boys" and inciting insurrections. . Fox News could actually report the news instead of divisive, and hateful conspiracy theories. The GOP could work on solving the nation's problems again, instead of trying to block everything (200 Republicans voted against a bill to ease the baby formula shortage and a bill to stop price gouging at the pump). After you clean up the party, you could then send Trump to Hades where he belongs.

It was low under Trump because the economy collapsed. In 2020 no one went anywhere. Oil prices are determined world-wide, not by the US.
