That pipeline was to move Canadian tar sand oil to the gulf for export. The Russian pipeline is in Germany. What did you think Biden was going to do? Declare war? The only stake the US had into the Keystone pipeline was to cleanup the oil from our rivers when it leaked. As usual, Trumpists are totally uninformed. Do you spend the day watching Fox News or reading comic books? Hard to tell the difference.

Suck it Google What did Trump do? I know he had a big tax cut that benefited mostly the 1%, but that's about it. He added 7.8 trillion to the national debt with nothing to show for it.
2
That's dump. Let's give everyone hand grenades. You can say the same thing.
2
Biden inherited a disaster. The economy in shambles. Recession. Pandemic.
2
@robert.m4676 No, let him golf on his own buck. That last thing we need today is another episode of "The Apprentice' when we need a president who is actually on the job.
1
@evalolacookie He's working all the time. That's an improvement. No reports of him spending the day watching TV. No tweets 24/7. That's good enough for me.
1
@janetflynn3633 The jobs weren't lost. They moved on to other projects. That pipeline was designed to carry Canadian tar sand oil. I found this: "The real purpose of the Keystone XL pipeline is to give Canadian tar sands producers access to Gulf Coast refineries - not to provide the U.S. with a more secure supply of oil". In other words, as Biden announced, the pipeline is not in our national interest.
1
@SacredFire777 We don't need Canadian tar sand oil polluting our country. TC Energy Corp., the Canadian company that owns the pipeline, told PolitiFact that it estimates 1,000 people will be out of work as a direct result of Biden's order.
1
@SacredFire777 Biden wants to move the US away from oil which will create millions of jobs. Construction jobs are temporary jobs. Did you think they were all going to retire after three years? Use your head.
1
@pro-techautomotive9433 Not worth it. Other technologies provide far more jobs. Tar sand oil is so nasty there is a problem of pipe leakage, from what I read. I live in Michigan. One of those pipes leaked into the Kalamazoo River about five years ago. Nice fishing river. Smallmouth Bass. They are still trying to get the oil out. No thanks. We don't want them. Conservatives seem to be still living in the '50's.
1
@bime1000 I doubt it.
1
John Everlasting It would cost too much. The Canadians would have to keep their shitty tar sand in the ground where it belongs.
1
@pro-techautomotive9433 We were the world's largest producer of crude under Obama too. Trump inherited that just like he inherited the economy he liked to brag about so much. Look it up. Also, oil production is independent of who is in office . It's a private industry. And Bozo, those pipeline jobs were to last only 3 years. They were temporary construction jobs. Those big construction companies has many projects.
1
@thornecardinal3587 That Canadian tar sand oil is the most expensive oil out there. They won't ship it by rail. Too expensive. I googled "US oil pipeline leaks" . This is what came up: "Since 1986 pipeline accidents have spilled an average of 76,000 barrels per year or more than 3 million gallons. This is equivalent to 200 barrels every day. ... There are a number of reasons for pipeline spills, including damage during excavation operations, metal failure, improper operation and corrosion.'
1
@billcrook4541 It's not finished. They wanted to extend it to the gulf for export.
1
MrDelorean3 63% support what Biden is doing. It must be 63% are more informed than you.
1
tims_always_fishing. 1) He rescinded over 100 of Trump's anti-environment , anti-clean air, anti-clean water Executive Orders on his first day in office. 2) He got the vaccinations on track in record fashion 3) He got the stimulus package passed which is helping restore the economy 3) He's pushing for an infrastructure program which will create millions of jobs 4) He's pushing to increase taxes for wealthy people. 5) He's responding to the Climate Change crisis.
1
@SteveBartlett55 I found this: Since 1986 pipeline accidents have spilled an average of 76,000 barrels per year or more than 3 million gallons. This is equivalent to 200 barrels every day. ... 1
@sip5257 The pipeline construction is temporary. Did you think they were going to work on it forever? It was supposed to be finished in three years.
1
@alwaysopen7970 The pipeline was designed to move Canadian oil to the gulf so they could sell it. "Not in the public interest" - Biden. He campaigned on that and won the election. The public spoke.
1
@stevenr6797 It's Canadian oil.
1
@xavierjohnson7590 So prove me wrong.
1
@enochancient9931 He's busy being indicted for crimes. He won't be coming back.
1
@sip5257 For Canada.
1
@SteveBartlett55 That oil was Canadian. Who says we have to undergo considerable risk of oil spills in our rivers and streams for the benefit of foreign companies? get informed.
1
MrDelorean3 Yes. Trump's Covid poll numbers were in the 30's. Do you know why? 900,000 Americans died on his watch. That's more American deaths than during the Civil War, both sides, all on one incompetent year. Biden's polls are at 63% because he is implementing policies to create jobs. I would be interested in knowing what policies the Republicans are promoting to create jobs. What are they?
1
@thornecardinal3587 The US buys Canadian oil, but we have no interest in allowing Canada to move it's oil to the gulf to sell it on the open market. Biden campaigned on the promise to shut the pipeline down and was elected in a landslide. What did you think he was going to do?
1
@jessiep2471 The first vaccine out was the Pfizer vaccine - German. They did not use Warp Speed money.
1
@user-gm4kv2my4u I read everything.
1
@albertnyakundi6756 Trump won't be locked up. They won't do that to millionaires. They are the elite. They have their own laws.
1
@leighgirouard7151 Trump was running his companies. The impeachments were impeachments. He wasn't found guilty by the same Senators who are afraid to cross him. Read the Senate Intelligence Committee report. Look it up. It details all you need to know about Trump's collusion with Russia.
1
@Loveamericasave They didn't defund the police yet. They are talking about it. How would that increase crime? The cities talking about it represent 1% of the population. Unemployment increases crime. The unemployment numbers shot up under Trump by millions.
1
@tinameyer7080 I didn't say anything about taking away guns from normal people. They should be regulated and limited to hunting weapons. They are too easy to obtain. These cowboy "carry" laws are a disaster.
1
@kennyfields253 Biden will get the economy going. Wait and see. Economists are predicting an economic boom very soon. And the country knows it. Biden is riding at 63%. Republicans have nothing to offer. No ideas. Can anyone tell me any idea Republicans have had in the last 5 years to boost the economy? I can't think of any. . They had the tax cut in 2017 that only benefited the 1%. Trump said everyone would get $4,000 in tax cuts. It turned out to be closer to $3.50 a week. It added 1.5 trillion to the national debt. Republicans were all for it.
1
@bitemypecker8762 Biden is doing OK.. Things are getting done. His administration has a policy. Ideas. Strategy. If you want to go back to "The Apprentice", see if you can find reruns om Youtube. Meanwhile, Trump is being investigated for crimes, a Grand Jury has been assembled. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
1
Who do you think she is looking at?
1
@bitemypecker8762 Trump is the past. He caused a lot of damage and it will take a while to turn things around. He single handedly lost the election and turned the Senate over to the Dems. Now Biden is at 63%. Pretty good for an old codger.
1
Biden did clean house. He had the the White House fumigated after Trump was fired to get rid of Covid . Trump was so incompetent he couldn't even keep it out of there. Biden inherited a total economic meltdown and is trying to get the train back on the tracks. Can anyone tell me one Republican policy or idea to get the economy thriving again? I can't think of any. Republicans want to obstruct. That's all they have to offer. That's why Biden is at 63% .
1
@ResonantTonalityMusic There is no Second Amendment law, dodo bird. Biden is riding fairly high in the polls, far higher than Trump ever achieved. How can you clowns call Biden an illegitimate president when Trump never made it even close to 50%. Very Strange how you folks think. I'll have to watch a couple of Youtube parrot videos to figure it out.
1
@ResonantTonalityMusic You are not familiar with the constitution because the Second Amendment is not "law". Laws are written by legislators. People certainly didn't flee to some of the red states which in some instances don't even have indoor plumbing. Mississippi, a red state, leads the nation in crime. Kentucky, Mitch McConnell's home state is the second most dependent state on federal money.
1
Yet Trump pardoned several convicted felons, I mean, his campaign staff last winter. Not a peep out of law and order Republicans. Crime will go down when the unemployment rate goes down.
1
@JS-ob4oh Protest is a constitutional right. Why would you want to end it? How would you end it? What would be the purpose? Don't be a fool.
1
Trump reversed over 100 environmental regulations, including clean air and water standards. Please explain to me how allowing strip mine operators to dump their waste into streams is good for America.
1
@Tisrok I google the subject: "Since 1986 pipeline accidents have spilled an average of 76,000 barrels per year or more than 3 million gallons. This is equivalent to 200 barrels every day. ... There are a number of reasons for pipeline spills, including damage during excavation operations, metal failure, improper operation and corrosion."
