  1. It takes years to produce an operating well. It has no bearing on oil production today. Oil prices are set by oil producing companies. Oil companies are making record profits. What does that tell you?

  2.  @Pinksodachick  Well, look what he inherited from Trump: a pandemic, an economic recession, 12% unemployment, food shortages, people getting kicked out of their homes, a f**ked up Afghanistan situation, and a dozen other things. He inherited one big mess. He also inherited a national disruption in the supply system, which is causing shortages, delays and higher prices. Considering what he is dealing with - it is amazing.

  3. The oil prices are now up due to the war in Ukraine. It has little to do with supply right now.

  5.  @yeh-ernpoh7511  It takes 2 to 3 years to drill and open up a well. IT'S NOT A SOLUTION. And oil prices are not based on supply and demand. Oil prices are high largely due to the war in Ukraine. Just the recent word of a possible peace agreement brought the price down 6%.
