@BasedTexans You should consider shopping somewhere else. My grocery bill is close to what it usually is. The federal government doesn't set prices anyway.

@Razn1917 No, heaven forbid. We can't plan for the future. That's why China is eating our lunch. They plan decades in advance.

He passed the stimulus package, as promised, giving all Americans $1,400. The economy is expanding at 8%. 934,000 people found work last month. We are getting out of Afghanistan. We may get an infrastructure package.

@maryboushell940 Stop it. i bought a steak yesterday for $8.00.

Duh. And what caused the lockdowns, Homer?

@2004done-Stll No, it will take legislation to lower drug prices. Trump's publicity stunt was just that - stunt. Apparently it worked on you. A Fact Check report: "Trump said, "Drug prices are coming down, first time in 51 years because of my administration." There is data that could conceivably support the argument that the list prices for some prescription drugs dipped in 2018. But that data doesn’t include many high-priced specialty drugs that drive costs up or the fact that some individual drug prices have increased. Nationally, spending on drugs has continued to climb, even if that growth has slowed. There is also no evidence to support the argument that Trump himself is responsible for changes in drug pricing. This claim has an element of truth, but it ignores key facts and context that would give a very different impression. We rate this claim Mostly False.

@claytonopinionbartlett8930 White House? You don't even know what building was attacked?
2
@maryboushell940 Perhaps you should move to a different area. I live in Michigan. Prices haven't gone up much here.

@johntafoya6875 And the real president wore make-up, a weird comb-over, weighed 300 lbs., Tweeted all day long, held superspreader rallies during a pandemic and golfed while Americans were dying.

His polls dropped a couple of points.

@scottlydon4631 And you think a runaway pandemic wouldn't ruin the economy? A runaway pandemic would disrupt the country to the degree there would be mass starvation.
1
@scottlydon4631 I can tell you don't know much about the subject. A runaway pandemic would disrupt or STOP the delivery system. Now look in your kitchen and determine how many items were brought in using the delivery system (how much did you grow yourself?) Remember how difficult it was to find toilet paper last spring? Imagine that was food and not toilet paper. Think about it.

@scottlydon4631 If lockdowns ruined the economy, why didn't other countries have their economies ruined? They all had lockdowns. In Germany, people caught out of their homes were fined. Why did the US, with 8% of the world's population, end up with 25% of the Covid deaths? Was it bad luck?
1
@scottlydon4631 There was no runaway pandemic. The lockdowns prevented it from happening. You don't know what you are talking about. Go back to your video games. This is clearly over your head.
1
@Idontneedahandle333 The economy is expanding at 8% right now. 943,000 jobs came back last month. The stock market is breaking records. We are going to get an infrastructure plan. I'd say he is doing ok.

The Keystone pipeline carried Canadian tar sand oil, the filthiest oil ever produced.

@WolfPandaMom Donald Trump is First President in Modern History to Never Reach 50% Approval in Gallup Poll - Newsweek

@samhouston1483 New homes are going for $300K where i live.
1
@scottlydon4631 They are willing to let people die to preserve their economies? Commendable.

@2004done-Stll Prices went up due to the pandemic. Where I live, food prices are about the same. Lumber prices are up some. I read supply issues (pandemic) caused that. Inflation is supposed to lower soon.
1
@tanyarobinson2098 Meanwhile the economy is expanding at a nearly unprecedented rate, 8%, 943,000 added jobs last month, 900,000 added in June , stock market breaking records. The infrastructure plan will create millions of jobs. Yes, that's pretty embarrassing. What planet are you from?
1
@tanyarobinson2098 Fault is not the issue. Dealing with a crisis is the issue. Trump failed miserably.
1
Cutting jobs? 943,000 jobs were created last month, 900,000 the month before.

Russia and China support their own countries .

Another insurrection? Go for it "patriots". News for you. They will be ready for you next time. It won't be a cake walk.

@uomodonore245 Escape the snow.

In other words: Trump ruined the best economy in US history (actually, it wasn't) . It takes a special talent. Too bad he didn't take the pandemic seriously.
1
Like Trump had any control over grocery prices. His pandemic response failure is what caused all the supply problems.
