The government doesn't control drilling, dumbo. We have a free market economy. Oil companyies make those decisions. Actually, oil production this year is expected to be higher than last year.

@williamfranz9872 Try doing research before making stupid comments..

@williamfranz9872 Trump didn't have 5% growth. It averaged out at .95% . Democrats are always better with the economy so it would be hard to find a Republican administration with anything close . Did you know that every Republican administration during the last 100 years has had an economic recession?

@kathystoneburner4947 You mean Obama had America independent. Oil production increased 40% during his term.

@williamfranz9872 Nope. It was down during the pandemic. " In the February STEO, we forecast that U.S. crude oil production will increase to 12.0 million b/d in 2022, up 760,000 b/d from 2021. We forecast that crude oil production in the United States will rise by 630,000 b/d in 2023 to average 12.6 million b/d. " - Feb 16, 2022

@kathystoneburner4947 Energy independent? Trump imported 82 billion in oil during the last year of his term.

@markboyd3931 Biden must be doing something right - 678,000 jobs were created last month, 200,000 more than the experts predicted. Looks like the economy is back. 3.8% unemployment, equaling Trump.

@citacita7889 Statistics are statistics. the important thing is the economy is taking off. Name one program Trump initiated to create jobs. He didn't do a thing.
1
@citacita7889 The US oil is coming from oil shale not drilling. But Biden recently opened up more federal land for drilling also . you are the one who is uninformed.
1
@citacita7889 For one thing, the government does not provide jobs, unless you join the military or work in a national park. It's private industry.

@victoriadumond3135 Reopen the pipeline? Keystone? It hasn't been built yet. Nothing to reopen.
