The Chinese spent trillions on infrastructure , uprating technology, etc. which is why jobs are moving to China. You are stuck in the '50's.

You know some of the things that are planned to make us competitive with China will boost the economy, boost the tax base and allow states to maintain roads and bridges. It's called "investment". The GOP is dead in the water right now. They are against everything. Have you noticed that? I can't think of one program they are "for". Can you think of one?

  12.  @benztech6869  Taxing the rich worked during the Great Depression. Their tax rate was 90%. It paid for Social Security , jobs and unemployment insurance. It was 70% when Reagan took office. Taxing the rich helped to form the middle class.

Now through all this - ask yourself what the GOP is planning to do to benefit average Americans. Can you think of anything? What is their plan? Do they have one? What programs are they willing to support? Biden is proposing a huge infrastructure program that will create millions of jobs decades into the future. The GOP is working overtime to block it. How are we going to lure technology jobs from China if our infrastructure is fifty years old? China has been spending on infrastructure while we have been putting all our eggs in military spending , war and military bases.
