If they hadn't paid people "not to work" millions of people would have lost their homes and would have been forced to live out on the street. You aren't very informed are you? What do you do, play video games all day? The main reason our economy was paralyzed was Trumps complete incompetence. Believe it or not, other countries didn't let the pandemic ruin their economies. Germany paid people their regular wages and paid businesses to stay solvent. People didn't lose their jobs and small businesses made it through. Lack of creativity. That's what happens when you elect a failed TV reality show host to run the country.

What he got done was lowering taxes for himself and his wealthy buddies (adding 1.5 trillion to the deficit), even though it didn't improve the economy. He told his buddies at Mar-a-Lago: "I just made you richer". That's what he got done.

  27.  @dh190852  His only legislation signed was his tax cuts that benefited only the wealthy. It increased the deficit by 1.5 trillion. Did you notice he never mentioned those tax cuts during the last election? On his first day in office he rescinded over 100 environmental programs, saying it was going to increase jobs. All it was was a give-away to corporations. Perhaps he improved his golf game. Who knows? He played often enough.

  28.  @abbynormalbrain8301  He got the infrastructure program passed, something Trump failed to do. He rescinded Trump's anti-environment Executive Orders. We are finally out of Afghanistan. Climate Change is again a topic of discussion. The EPA is allowed to function again.
