They also put programs in place to protect their workers and economy. The US did 10% of what they did and got hammered for it. You didn't answer my question. I take it you would take a smallpox vaccine if there was an outbreak, but wouldn't support mass vaccinations like they had in the 50's to eradicate the disease. You should google 1918 Flu epidemic and read about deaths from virus's. 50,000,000 dead worldwide (it might have been twice that) , when the population was 25% of what it is today (200,000,000 deaths today).

His cuts did not boost the economy and the average American saw only $3.50/ week back in taxes. It didn't even pay for itself. 1.5 trillion was added to the deficit to pay for it.
