So China is attempting what Walt Disney successfully did back in 1965 with his audio-animatronic President Lincoln and which fills the Disney Theme Parks in their many shows. Only took 60 years!

Truth! China's getting a seat on the UN human rights committee is HORRIFYING!

@MaxTheAxeHK Islam is the fuel for this fire and putting other religions into the same category is foolish. Look into the history of what happens to any area where Muslims become the majority. NO ONE is safe, even those with no religion.

There is a Jewish population in China from back in the days of the Silk Road.

@ukb5115 Disney’s audio-animatronics have been around since the 1960s. What’s scary isn’t the tech but the tech being in the wrong hands.

@fibonaccil7627 People who desire to use tech for evil purposes such as regimes who won’t uphold human rights, seek to grab resources, surveil those who oppose their regimes, etc. The CCP comes to mind as do terrorist groups and the regimes that support terror.

Several years back, I'd considered investing in Alibaba but then considered how CCP lies and controls economic data. I'm very glad that I didn't!

Nature enters the chat: I can help with that!

@two02ful You're just spreading the propaganda of the CCP. China isn't in very good shape either. From Wikipedia: The national debt[note 1] (or government debt) of the People's Republic of China is the total amount of money owed by the government and all state organizations and government branches of China. As of May 2020, it stands at approximately CN¥ 39 trillion (US$ 5.48 trillion),[1] equivalent to about 48.4% of GDP. Standard & Poor's Global Ratings has stated Chinese local governments may have an additional CN¥40 trillion ($5.8 trillion) in off-balance sheet debt.[2] The high debt level is a current economic issue facing China.[3][4][5]

And so the people of China respond by not becoming part of a couple. Lie flat, let it rot!
