  1. I had bone-on-bone arthritis in both hips and one of my fears was that I'd be pressured to get vaxxed or be denied having replacement surgeries. I'm grateful that my surgeon and his staff never brought up the issue beyond the required "have you been?" question. In fact, many seemed unspokenly supportive of my decision, like they couldn't say anything out loud, but agreed with my choice. I had both hips replaced in 2022.
