I would love to know if that 27% is equally distributed between CCP party members or if the likelihood of finding a job depends upon party membership!

@pudding7074 No, I don't. Social credit score would likely matter, but I have no idea about party membership. More likely it's "who you know" and that isn't necessarily dependent on party status.

Rate is a percentage of the population, whether it's 27% of 100 or 27% of 1,400,000,000. But 27% of 100 people is only 27 people and 27% of 1.4 billion is 378,000,000 people.

@gandhikumar2956 EXACTLY! Because China's population is so large, 27% unemployment is an ENORMOUS number of people without work/income.

@gandhikumar2956 China's unemployment rate is 3 times higher than India's. For every unemployed Indian, you will have three unemployed Chinese.
