@protorhinocerator142 Perhaps we're already there. The Bai Lan (big whites of "pandemic control" in China and all the Covid attempts to conquer the masses could be the rider on the white horse. Russia's invasion of Ukraine could be the rider on the red horse. Many are predicting famine in 2023/2024. But those could simply be "birth pains" like 100 years ago with the influenza epidemic and two world wars in short order. We'll just have to wait and see - and pray for the grace to suffer well when called to lay down our lives for our Redeemer.

@protorhinocerator142 I believe Yeshua comes again, but I don't believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. Our "great hope" is the resurrection of the righteous dead, so I'm preparing for martyrdom like so many believers throughout history have experienced and so many in our present day are experiencing even now whose prayers aren't to escape tribulation but rather for the grace to "suffer well." The tribulation is a necessary preparation for His bride because it purifies and refines our faith and ensures that it is genuine. Peter thought he was willing to die for Jesus but couldn't even admit to knowing him to a servant girl, and ended up denying him three times before the night was over. His eyes were opened and he was no longer self-deceived. Eventually, he did die for his faith, but not until many years later. John was the only disciple who went to the cross with Jesus and was the only one who didn't die a martyr's death, so it seems that one way or another we MUST go to the cross with Jesus to prove the genuineness of our belief. So if it takes tribulation to prove and refine my faith, then so be it. I trust in His wisdom; He knows what it will take to perfect us!

@brettrobinson2901 Any and all oppressive regimes because you're right and they seem to be increasingly drawn to one another.

@DioBrando90 The one-child policy IS just one EXAMPLE of living under an oppressive regime - the CCP created the problem, so I'd argue that you've got it backward - oppression is the MAIN reason for this happening in China.
