  1. Buyer beware indeed! But try buying anything online these days and what do you get under product origin? "Imported" And that is for the finished product. There is no supply-chain transparency. I've been trying to avoid Chinese products for human rights reasons as well as product quality, but it is difficult to get info. It has gotten worse and I think that is because Chinese influence is trying to maintain product sales by hiding that products are Chinese made.

  2.  @theuncalledfor  Check again because I've found the options to have increased substantially in the past 18 months. There are still some items where I can't find alternatives yet, but far fewer than before. Supply chain ttansparency is the issue now.
