  11. I'm concerned for those trapped in "closed-loop" work environments. What kind of living conditions will employers provide for sleeping, hygiene, and food? What about those on medication? During home lockdowns, people still had some chance of letting others know about their situations. I think it is very unlikely we'll know the true extent of the suffering in these "closed-loop" environments. Smuggled tech and discrete recording could be too easily confiscated/destroyed and what repercussions may there be for those who try?

And when a male is finally able to accomplish this, he will likely opt for a younger female which leaves those who are older, yet still of childbearing age out of the equation for the most part. The 2.1 children per woman are based on a population that is gender balanced, which is not the case in China where each couple must produce enough children to replace themselves PLUS enough extra to cover for those who don't find partners or are unwilling/unable to have children (and the extensive pollution in China may be causing infertility). At the rate this is going, each couple may need 4 or more children until a cohort of gender-balanced people attains child-bearing age. We've barely begun to realize just how foolish the "one-child" policy has been.

Could you cover the topic of medical waste generated by all the testing? Right now, it appears that the products made from medical waste are only being sold within China, but is there potential that this will make its way into items for export as well? Very concerning!!!

In places known for very cold winters like Russia, Finland, and Sweden, they'd build fireplaces with a maze of passages that redirected the smoke and hot air to warm the bricks before eventually going out a chimney. The rest of the house was built around the massive masonry heater. They minimize the amount of wood needed by using heat as efficiently as possible and a section of these fireplaces was used for cooking and baking.

  273. It’s called “cherry picking” information and many channels do that. Flooding happens every year in China and some places within are flood prone. If the flooding is much worse than other years (either in how hard an area is hit or when areas not normally flooded are), I’m sure Tony will cover it.

  276. Not TO China, but WITHIN China. Even the Chinese don't want to risk a lockdown situation away from home. That is why they're having problems delivering supplies - truckers get locked down or quarantined when crossing province borders and any perishable supplies end up rotting.
