One that prevents pregnant women DYING trying to do it illegally, to protect young people and sexual assault victims, domestic abuse victims, many many extremely valid reasons. You don't have to agree or even fully understand. It's hard to understand when you haven't dealt with it personally. Regardless, in the end it's about having that choice - in case. Making it illegal or legal only when rape or something, that wouldn't work. You usually have to abort within 3 months (before the fetus is actually starting to form a "proper" life, it's not like the day after the conception that there already is an ACTUAL baby in there, that takes time. It's not a baby or even a fetus in it's earliest stages of developing), so if you actually got raped you would need to PROVE it for it to not being illegal. That takes way more than a few weeks to legally prove. All the technicalities would be too hard to make work in real life. Not having the right and accessabillity to abortions doesn't help anyone.

  18.  @AxxLAfriku  Don't drop out. You'll feel proud for finishing what you started. I personally dropped out at the finish line at my 11th year in school (I live in Norway where we don't have our schools set up the same way, so it wouldn't make sense for me to say high school or college or whatever it would have been in America), which I now regret. I wish I at least would have finished just two more years, just to have that certification to make it A LOT easier to not only get a job, but a good job I actually would enjoy doing for however many years. Sometimes what we want in life doesn't work out like we maybe thought it would, and sometimes we get tired of what we're doing and want to change careers. Then it's so much easier to navigate the job market. It'll also help to instill you with a more patient attitude, and also giving you the sense of being able to push through towards the end goal. To not quit what you started. Now, I know everyone is different so what's right for me wouldn't be right for everyone else as well obiviously, but still. I just think it's good to push through what's boring now, but still is going to serve you great in the future. Even with doing youtube/social media I'm sure it would be easier to make it even better if you finish the school experience "properly". Just my two cents.

  22. Fr. 23 here, can't even imagine having a child the next five years lol. I grew up fast and have been living on my own and taking care of myself since I was 17, financially and everything, I still can't imagine. I don't know if I want a child at all tho lol, so that may be part of it. I've just always thought that IF I ever were to have a child, I would ensure that I at first had a stable income, housing and partner who I'm married to. I don't need to get knocked up only for my partner to bounce. If I'm good enough for you to procreate with and carry your child, I better be good enough for you to put a damn ring on it!! Then and only then would I consider it. Not only for me, but for the sake of my potential kid(s). Stability is key. I didn't have that myself and would hate myself if I were to willfully bring a child into an unstable home enviroment. I just couldn't do it. Regardless.

When someone confides in you that they've been sexually abused, the chance that it happened is like 99%. It's extremely rare for people to make that up, and when someone actually makes it up, it's for revenge. When anyone claims to have been raped, you can almost always guarantee that it happened. Most of the time, victims/survivors aren't heard. VERY few survivors even file charges, often due to fear or shame. The very few people that file charges are usually completely ignored by the system. The case usually gets thrown out. Those all too seldom times they actually reach the court, the survivors usually lose. Not because it didn't happen, but because it's usually way too easy to come up with a defense. It's easy to either just say that it was consentual sex, or that it didn't happen. Very few people go to the hospital (at all) in time for someone to collect physical proof and possibly DNA. Even when people do that, it's way too easy for people to say that both parties were in on it. It's also rare that people even end up with any bruises or anything else that can help prove what happened. Even I experienced it very violently once, I could've easily died, still all the physical proof my body showed was this one bruise on my leg that could've been explained by anything and my.. area being red. And this case was extremely violent. So people usually don't exhibit physical signs that make it easy to prove. You're talking about proving sexual abuse like it's as easy as following a paper trail proving fraud. It doesn't work like that. Also, this is not a courtroom, so I don't understand why you're so focused on legal terms and the legality of it all. This is not court. Nobody is accused. Nobody is "guilty before proven innocent". What we have here is simply one person sharing part of their story. He's not fighting someone in court. There's nobody to prove guilty or innocent here, so gtfo. You're just being a prick for the sake of it, and you're just wrong and foolish for that. That's really low of you. Do better.
