@brileyfleming9805 It doesn't matter if people find it morally okay or not. It's a PERSONAL MEDICAL procedure. One that prevents pregnant women DYING trying to do it illegally, to protect young people and sexual assault victims, domestic abuse victims, many many extremely valid reasons. You don't have to agree or even fully understand. It's hard to understand when you haven't dealt with it personally. Regardless, in the end it's about having that choice - in case. Making it illegal or legal only when rape or something, that wouldn't work. You usually have to abort within 3 months (before the fetus is actually starting to form a "proper" life, it's not like the day after the conception that there already is an ACTUAL baby in there, that takes time. It's not a baby or even a fetus in it's earliest stages of developing), so if you actually got raped you would need to PROVE it for it to not being illegal. That takes way more than a few weeks to legally prove. All the technicalities would be too hard to make work in real life. Not having the right and accessabillity to abortions doesn't help anyone.
