@dominicpersaud1155 That doesn't mean we should restrict innocent young women from living their best life while we just let our sons roam free.

@f.k6920 Well no parent thinks that their son is going to rape or assault someone. It still happens way too often. Still, that shouldn't mean we rob GIRLS from their goddamn freedom, it means we have to start raising our boys right. Of course we should teach young girls common sense and how to protect themselves, but that does NOT mean we should just accept that "boys will be boys". No. Teach your sons manners, I don't understand how hard it it for people.

So many wannabe victim boys here. Grow up.

@watchrblx7163 Dude. Stop shaming women for having the same urges as men. It takes two to tango, right? Instead of teaching girls to be fearful of men we should teach our young boys ti be respectful of women and their wishes instead of treating them like objects that purely exist to please men. No man has the right to a woman's body. There's a reason we put predators away in jail instead of sending the victims away. Don't punish the innocent. Women should be taught how to protect themselves because we don't know which one person of those we meet who are going to be bad. In the same token we should teach our young men to behave in a way where women aren't fearful of them.

This!!! We should obiviously teach the same morals and values etc, but accordingly to the individual. Think of it sort of like how you would treat a child from an adult. Although you should treat them with the same level of respect, you can't treat them 100% equally. Sometimes we need to ajust how we treat people based on their differences in order for them to have equal oppurtunities etc.

@randomeventstv Many women around the world. Being scared of what may happen to you if you walk alone at night is not freedom. Having (most male) politicians decide about abortion rights is not freedom. The list goes on. Many areas in the world still have arranged marriages where women don't get to choose who they marry. Much more. That's not freedom, is it?

@f.k6920 I understand as well, that's why I'm still saying we should still teach women about the world's pros and cons, to teach self defence etc. But if we want to move away from this, we need to focus more on predators, not victims (I'm NOT saying all victims are female or that ALL predators are men, but in general terms that's way more common. It's equally important to take care of male victims as it is the other way around so don't come at me for generalizing a bit. I'm talking the majority of these kinds of cases here, I know there are many exceptions). The same way we want to teach our young women to be able to protect themselves, we have to teach our young sons about respecting women's bodies and their rights to their own body. That women are not solely here to please men, and that if they don't, men have no right to take advantage of them because they feel they have the right. That's my point.

@KaushikBala333 A life not lived in fear by men. A life where we don't have to worry too much about walking alone in the dark. A life with equal oppurtunity. Living the life they want. Not being restricted like many of us are.

Oh, how wonderful mysogony is.. ffs. Welcome to the sexist, incel comment section!

Kaiser24 Uhm, no? That's not the point? All I'm saying is that we focus way more on women having to take care of themselves rather than focusing more/equally as much on teaching our sons right. That's it.

@jaydon232 Because HE doesn't have to carry or give birth (which are NOT risk free - America is on top of the world when it comes to maternal death) and she's the one automatically "stuck" with the baby, NOT the dude. He can bounce. Yes, he has to pay but so does mom, as well as in the end, SHE'S responsible. That's why.

@adenferguson2647 I don't even consider myself a feminist. Old-age feminist, yes. Not new-age, it's too messy. Pushing women up does not push men down.
2
@adenferguson2647 Nope, I ain't saying that. But really, I doubt you even care about these men's issues considering you're unable doing anything but bashing ppl, replying tacky insults to women. If you actually wanted us to care about your issues, you would reach further by trying to get me to symphatize rather than just spew hate. Also, if you won't even bother acknowledging women's issues, how tf do you expect us to not only acknowledge your issues but also HELP with them?? Smh. Sit down, lil boy. You would literally not have a voice - or a life - if it wasn't for a female. You're not better than anyone.

@watchrblx7163 You just did. No one shames males for getting women pregnant, so why blame solely the woman?? You realize sperm is needed as well? I don't have said mentality at all. I don't blame men either, but he knows very well as well the potential risks. NO ONE blames males for getting females pregnant, but people seem to put the responsibilty on ONLY the woman, not both parties. That's wrong. It's no ones "fault", unless it's rape it's a concious, consensual decicion between both parties. Females don't get preggo on their own, you know 🙂 Yes, the woman chose to get in bed. So did the man. No one is to "blame" for this.
1
@watchrblx7163 Also, getting in bed with someone doesn't mean you don't respect yourself. We don't have that same attitude towards men, right? They get high fives, women get shame. I'm not demanding respect because I'm a girl, I demand respect for being who I am. I realize respect has to be earned, unlike males who demand respect EVERYWHERE he goes for nothing. Your attitude is petty.
1
@watchrblx7163 LOLWHAT 💀💀💀 The things you said men gets "shamed" for is EXACTLY what people, especially men tells women. "Close your legs" and "control yourself" is what WOMEN are being told. If I go around in my friend group bragging about how many men I've slept with, I'm a "slut". If men do that, they get a high five. DO NOT TELL ME IT'S THE OTHER EAY AROUND BECAUSE THAT'S THE MOST IGNORANT THING I'VE HEARD. Stfu, you don't know hat you're talking about.

@watchrblx7163 If both are equally drunk, no one is the rapist. If the woman is unable to consent due to being too drunk but the man isn't really that drunk and still knows what is going on, the fault is on the male. It all depends. To your second example. You're absolutely right that if you consent at first but then withdraw consent (which you can do WHENEVER), if the man respects that that's not rape. If he doesn't, it sure is rape. Although if she regrets whatever in the middle of it without giving any signs she's uncomfortable then that's regrettable, but I wouldn't call that rape. You just have to remember that you don't have to articulate a "no", "stop" or smthn but are still making signs she's uncomfortable, that CAN be considered rape. If you're not certain your partner is consenting to what you may be doing, just ask. It's not awkward to communicate during sex. It's better to be 100% certain than not.

@diegoanimations9504 Exactly! I don't understand how this concept is so damn hard to understand for some folks.

@KaushikBala333 That's right.

@Kyle Dattner I had many guy friends as a child (still have) as well as a brother and cousins. So I know how many children are raised. You don't know what I know, so you can't deny anything I said. I've seen this first hand over and over again. As well as stories from other people I know. Parents perspective, sons perspective, all kinds of different perspectives.

@hamzamohamed6120 Oh, that I know. I just didn't get what he had to do with this, other than the fact that he was born there?

@Unika Ngxonono Looool no wtf.
1
@adenferguson2647 What the fuck kinds of rights don't you have tho??? Smh 💀
1
@adenferguson2647 No. If we don't give birth, no one exists. Okay now you just coping my response. How flattering!
1
@adenferguson2647 Women create the baby, you realize you NEED the egg as well? Also, sperm travels in extremely high numbers yet there MIGHT be one that doesn't die on the way that forms with the egg, where THEN mother's body starts the actual creation. So lol. Sperm is weak as fuck. Sperm doesn't create the baby. You need it, but that's not what creates it. Mother's body, her egg and her body uses that tool (sperm) only to start the job. Sperm doesn't create.
