That's offensive to children, despite me agreeing with the point lol.
The thing is, children are simply ignorant/naive. The GQP on te other hand are just willfully ignorant, but not naive. They know what they're doing. They know better, but refuse to do better. When children know better, they do better. So there's a huge difference.
The GQP is acting foolish, but they know exactly what they're doing. Children act foolish because they're children. At least children learn and grow. They own up to their mistakes, and wants to do better.
RepukeliKKKans are willfully making calculated "mistakes" in order to get their badfaith point across.
I respect children. I do NOT respect the GQP AT ALL. They deserve nothing but the worst, and I sure do hope that karma comes and kicks their behinds so hard, they'll wish they weren't ever even born. Shame on them. Shame.
I'm not even American, I've never been there, never intend to go there. But I still care. I care, because I care about everyone. I care about earth. America holds such great influence globally, whether we like it or not. Hence why I care so much. Me, myself and my fellow Norwegians (as I am Norwegian) may not be directly affected by America, BUT we sure as heck get influenced indirectly. Not only are we in NATO together, meaning that whenever you Americans decide to invade some other country to "make them democratic" (aka STEAL their assets like oil etc.), we must follow and fight together. Not "just" that, but our politics are often greatly influenced by American politics. We've for a long time been called "America's little sibling". Our politicians have a tendency to follow their lead. Say for instance when it comes to drug laws. When Reagan declared "The War on Drugs", we followed. Same thing now. Most of us believe that marihuana should be (at least) legal medically. Many, but not as many, also believe that recreational usage should be legal. Most people in the extreme very least, believe that it should be decriminalized (along with other drugs intended for personal usage). Our politicians never dare to take such big political steps first. For some reason, they insist on always wanting until several other countries have done the same, especially America, and then, and only then do our leaders begin to even just consider change. It's like they want to see other nations/states fail or succeed first, before we implement the same policies. Personally, I think that's foolish, but that's how it goes. Therefore, I am very much interested in your (Americans) politics. They really do affect many more than just your own citizens. They influence the entire globe.
It seems like Americans never think about this. They wanna be number one, the globe's greatest influence and leader, but refuse to even consider how their "lead" will actually end up influence others. You want credit for the good, but refuse to own the bad, and take accountability for the wrongdoings. How selfish and grandiose. If you wanna be leaders, act like it.
