Fr. Ugh, it's so disgusting and just utterly selfish. They really thought that letting practically a stranger, this unknown big man come in as a authoritarian "parent" would be ok??? Letting him move in at all!? They're literally bullies. Both verbally and physically abusive. They demand all too much from him. This little boy is rightfully scared af. Who wouldn't be? They also don't allow him to express himself. He have no safety. He's losing more and more love and affection, (emotional) space, his place in the home, he's losing everything while getting abused because he's scared. HOW can anyone be this selfish. What a terrible mother and arrogant "step-father". They're all letting him down. They don't care about him. He's become a burden to them, and he feels the same. He's internalizing the abuse, leaving him feeling like nothing. No self esteem, just self hatred. There's no wonder why he acts like he does. I mean, who wouldn't?
