I absolutely agree that avoiding the CPS as much as possible is the best, but at some point, in some situations, they just HAVE TO step in. It's far from a good option, but sometimes, it's simply the better option. They're absolutely essential to have, and their job is extremely important. Of course, A LOT needs to be done within the CPS. They have a whoooole lot to improve about their practicses and everything, but they have to be around.
