@cswhite What an amazingly ignorant, gaslighting and abusive statement. Saying such things ONLY makes it WORSE for those of us who are struggling. Life is not beautiful for everyone. Life can be beautiful, but part of life's beauty is melancholy and imperfections. For some people, life is more of a tragedy than something beautiful. None of us asked to be alive. NO ONE. We simply came about. Sometimes suicide/death seems to be our only escape. No one in general wants to die. We just want the pain to stop.. and when we see not other solutions than to end it all, suicide seems logical to those who struggle with suicidal thoughts. Your ignorance does not dictate how everyone else should feel. Do I think suicide is a good option? Not in any way, shape or form. It's terrible, just terrible and horribly tragic, so don't even try putting words in my mouth. You never know what being suicidal actually feels. It's a constant life or death battle which NOBODY wants. Our brain just works in odd ways at times. What you're saying is nothing but damaging. It makes those of us who are suicidal feel even worse about ourselves, and we start blaming ourselves even more, which only leads to a stronger belief that there's something wrong with us that we can't fix; enforcing our already tragic thoughts.
