@missmew3499 She's not in a concious state of mind. She don't know what she's actually doing, and she can't control her impulses. Also she's obvs scared af. By the way Phil's treating her, there's no wonder her fight, flight or freeze response is kicking in. This is just sad and horribly done by this show. I usually don't react as badly to the show and often times think the guests are just.. annoying brats and what not, but this is JIST exploitation. Allowing her to be on stage/TV like this is PURE EXPLOITATION. SHE CAN NOT CONSENT.

You're so ignorant. She can't consent to all this. She's not okay or good to go for TV, or are able to follow/understand directions. You clearly know nothing about mental + physical health and addiction. Get out with that bs. This is PURE EXPLOITATION. This wouldn't happen if you had universal health care in the states. Not at all.

FR!!! Too many comments here are taking dumps on her, acting like they know stuff. Poor couple. This is not okay. I feel bad for even watching and giving him more views, I just feel for his guests. They want help and are being exploited. This would never happen if you had universal health care in the states.

@SStoll-dz1cp It IS relevant. How could you know when you don't know what it's like for an addict to either have universal health care or not? If it wasn't such a fuzz to get treatment (it costs way too much for many people, and your social programs are severly underfunded), many more people would. That would also make it a lot easier for everyone, considering the police wouldn't have to step in in cases like these. If only you could see how other countries with guaranteed health care is doing it, you'd get it. But you don't get it. Look at some actual, unbiased stats, not only from the states. You'll see that those countries with proper quality, accessable (to everyone, regardless of wealth and social status) health care have WAY less chronic addicts, homeless people and incarcerated people.

@beamills9205 Oh, so when did you become an addiction expert? You're obiviously not and have NO IDEA what you're talking about? Shame on you. Get tf out.

@kimwhitehead9096 She wants it. There's no wonder she's wimsy. That's what addiction does to you. She's obvs struggling a lot, and Phil doing like he's doing to her, threatening, yelling, cornering her etc. creates a fear response in her. Basic anxiety at a high level, causing you to have to choose between fight, flight or freeze. This is a completely natural response by her. You don't know sh*t.
