@heatyt Doesn't sound that good.. I understand that parents are parents, not friends.. they're still PARENTS, not the cops or whoever. They're supposed to disipline you, but NOT abuse you. Your goal as a parent is not to frighten them into submission, although many people do that, which is not okay. Making your kid scared of you drives them only further away from you, and then they literally can't parent anymore. Parents should be their child's best support.
